Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

This is a must see attraction in the area and something you should especially check out on your first visit to Palm Springs.  A ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will take you over Mount San Jacinto and offer up breath taking views of Mt. San Jacinto Wilderness Park, which is an expansive biking trail that stretches over 54 miles, and incredible aerial views of the Coachella Valley.

You can find several vacation packages that include a ride on the tram car which allows you to take video and photographs of the breath taking views awaiting your arrival.  This makes for a perfect start to your Palm Springs vacation as you will get an overhead view of which you can plan your attck on once back on the ground.
